Technique Tuesday with Cynthialoowho♥

Stampin with Spray's

Today's technique is stamping with Starburst's, Glitz Spritz, and Moon Shadows!
Make sure to use a stamp that has a large surface. (small details won't show up)
I'm using this beautiful stamp set by Lindy's Stamp Gang "Japanese Maple Duet"
I used the 2 bigger leaf stamps.

Once you have your stamp on your block spritz once or twice, don't worry about the beading it will fill out once stamp is pressed.
Press down firmly and fast.
This color is Autumn Maple Crimson Starburst Spray.

I also used Delphinium Turquoise Starburst Spray and got this beautiful image!

You can use this technique for a single image or make an amazing background for any project!
Thanks for stopping by.

Magical Micas Galore!

Hi everyone! It's Sharon here, and today I come to you with a tutorial of the inspiration project I made for the current Lindy's Stamp Gang Contest (it ends October 24, 2011----click HERE for rules and more details!). It is a Fall themed contest, where you can make either a Halloween, or a Fall/Thanksgiving themed project.
I don't celebrate Halloween, and barely have any supplies to make any related projects, but I looked around my room, and had to make something with this owl stamp, and some awesome Lindy's Stamp Gang Micas. It's a playful card, I liked the "too cute to spook" message, and I went off from it to make my trifold card.

The Cuttlebug embossing folder I used, was one I bought because I totally loved the design, even though I did not know when, or in what I would use it, but it was one of those things I just had to have. I'm so glad I got it. Love the embossed spiderweb!
You can see the full video tutorial where I go into detail on all the Lindy's Stamp Gang products I used and how I used them. Just by click HERE. You will see the process from start to finish.
All the Lindy Stamp Gang Products made my owl look so awesome, not to mention the shimmer on the clouds is fabulous!!!

All the micas I used to color this card definitely brought it to life. I LOVE the finished look! Again, all the colors I used are detailed on the video, so don't forget to watch, and thanks for stopping by!

Technique Tuesday with Cynthialoowho♥

It's time to "Silver-ize"
One of my favorite embossing powders from Lindy's Stamp Gang
Stamp any image any color and Silver-ize it.
I started out with some black Memento Ink, a Beautiful leaf stamp from Lindy's Stamp Gang "Japanese Maple Duet" and some Magic Moon Pearls.

I then stamped my image and poured Magic Moon Pearls immediately on the stamped image. (make sure to shake your embossing powders well before using)

Then I heat embossed, and the magic appeared!!!

Make sure once your image has cooled to wipe off any loose mica powder with a soft cloth.

Here is another technique I like to do with my Magic Moon Pearls.

I like to dip my mulberry flowers in my Color Shots and then while wet sprinkle with Magic Moon Pearls and heat emboss!

I used this gorgeous rich Hydrangea Blue,

Here it is after I dipped it,

covered with Magic Moon Pearls,

Silver-ized

again,

and again!
I hope you try this technique, it's a lot of fun and makes even more out of your inks and supplies!
